I don’t know about you, but I am a huge fan of Formula 1 (personal note: now that Schumacher’s back! Or am I a huge Schumacher fan?…) and if you’re like me and you have an HTC HD2 (seems to be the only advertised as supported device) you’ll appreciate a super Official Formula 1 application right on your device.

To get the application, point your Device’s browser to http://mobile.formula1.com and select the option to download and install the (Java) application. Once installed and started, you are presented with an iPhone/Sense-like bottom navigation bar where you can choose to see Live Timings, Races, Standings and much more interesting and useful information. I love the live timing feature which allows me to get real time information for Practices not broadcasted over the Internet or on TV.

A free and quick registration is necessary for accessing the information inside the app but it takes less than 10 seconds to accomplish.
