Nokia N900 Gets WiFi Tethering

Not to be outdone by competing smartphone platforms and their WiFi tethering options–most recently Verizon Wireless with the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus and the Mobile Hotspot app–third-party developer Joiku will be releasing a WiFi tethering solution for owners of the Nokia N900 will be getting a WiFi tethering solution for the Maemo-Linux device. Joiku, which is a partner with WMWiFiRouter, will be bringing the capability to share your T-Mobile 3G AWS mobile broadband data connection with other devices like a laptop.

The Maemo tethering option from Joiku is called JoikuSpot and is expected in the next several weeks right before Mobile World Congress.
