The Windows Mobile “Remove Programs” tool is functional, but it’s definitely a little bland. Not that looks matter in a system utility, but trying to sort through a text list of a hundred installed apps can be a bit cumbersome. Well, a new utility tries to solve that problem by introducing some extra features on top of a traditional uninstaller.
TMS UnInstaller displays icons with every app listed, shows the number of installed apps and also has a search feature for quick access to specific programs that you want to uninstall. If you have a giant collection of apps, this utility might be a more convenient way to uninstall programs. It’s unmistakably easier on the eyes, which goes a long way when searching through what seems to be a never ending list. Grab it from the developer’s site. If you decide that you don’t like it, you can actually uninstall TMS UnInstaller using itself.
Notes: Available for devices running WM5 or greater and requires .NET CF 3.5. It’s also a good idea to back up your system before using any utility such as this. Be sure to read the developer’s notes on the download page too.
