New FSlide UI Released for Windows Mobile 6.5

The creator of the sweet Windows Phone 7 Series skin for WAD2 is clearly spending many hours in his workshop. LeSScro actually has another UI project in the works, called FSlide, which has just been released as a beta on XDA-developers. It can run with other UIs and is integrated by using slide features, hence the app’s name. You basically slide vertically/horizontally to get to different panels. It has a minimalistic look, but gives users quick access to the most essential functions. Check out the video demo and features listed below. Grab the beta (CAB file) from XDA-developers.

Features in FSlide Beta 3:

• Slide down for Today screen (with or without plug-ins)

• Slide left for dialer

• Slide right for settings and custom panels (add favorite apps/contacts)

• Slide up for contacts manager

• Animations for launching apps and sliding panels

• Google Search bar

• Lock screen

• G-sensor support

• Home screen displays appointments, tasks, clock, notifications

• Links to Today screen, clock, task manager, connections manager, battery status, messaging, screen lock, and favorite functions on Home screen

• Add multiple custom panels

• Change home screen wallpaper

• File manager

Note: requires .NET CF 3.5 and a Windows Mobile 6.5 device with WVGA resolution. I wouldn’t recommend running it with TF3D/Sense unless you have a device, such as the HD2, with high amounts of RAM.
