It looks like developers are beginning to exploit the HTC HD2‘s capacitive touchscreen, which does a fine job at multitouch. XDA-Developers modders have been working on getting multitouch to work on some game emulators for the Windows Mobile platform. Gaming is an area where multitouch would be useful as it requires pressing multiple buttons in quick, successive order or at the same time.
