In this video we spend some time talking about the homescreen experience of the Motorola Droid X from Verizon. Motorola has added some pretty neat widgets that let you keep in touch with social networks of your choice, access email messages without going into the mail application, and perform certain actions for different contacts. You can also resize many Motorola widgets, which is a great touch–one that we’ve yet to see on other Android phones. In total there are seven homscreens on the Droid X, which you can jump to with the indicator along the bottom. Performance when running multiple widgets on all screens was quite good.
