We’ve posted about Manila Birthday, a Manila styled application offering a centralized view of all of your Contacts’ birthdays, with the ability of setting Calendar Events for each Contact anniversary.

Recently, Manila Birthday has been promoted to version 2, already at RC3. What’s new is that it still uses a Manila style layout, now, more than ever, using Manila SDK, while offering all the features of 1.x versions, like adding Calendar entries with reminders and a cool new one which allow the app to either run full screen or “windowed”. It can coexist with the old version but I recommend you uninstall them before going for this version which offers a menu command to delete all existing entries in case you’ve added some to your Calendar.
