Location-Based GPS Weather Takes a While to Update

We reported that the TouchFLO 3D on the Verizon Wireless HTC Imagio supports displaying the weather on the clock screen on TF3D, but the second cool part to that equation is that TouchFLO 3D can also activate the GPS so when you travel to a new city, you can get weather information in that city without having to add another location manually.

The location-based feature works well, but takes a while to update as TouchFLO 3D has to turn on the GPS, wait to get a position lock, and then download the weather. This process takes a bit longer than just updating the weather if you had the location programmed in, but it works well if you have a little patience--the entire process took under a minute.

The screenshot of the weather tab is below. Right next to the city name--San Diego--you see a little GPS icon showing that the weather location here is set by the GPS.
