Latest Windows Mobile 6.5 Build Shows SMS Sync

We’re looking forward to Exchange 2010, which will bring a lot of new features to Windows Mobile for those that use the service. Beyond the changes coming to Outlook Mobile such as conversation view for email, message previews, and device-side rule creation, we’ll also have SMS sync. That means that in addition to tasks, calendar, contacts, and email, you’ll also have your SMS synced up across various devices if you’re using Exchange.

One of the latest Windows Mobile 6.5 builds for the XPERIA X1 on XDA that I’m running has the Text Message sync option when you set up an Exchange server, but it doesn’t yet seem to be working, probably because Exchange 2010 isn’t out yet.
