We somehow overlooked – and seems that so did others – that the HTC Snap received an official update mid last month, in the form of a hotfix, on the Worldwide site of HTC.

Seems like the update is “resolving the same SMS being sent repeatedly, and the recipient receiving multiple copies of the same message by the HTC Snap”. Now, this update is applicable to you if 1. you are facing the multiple SMS issue and 2. you are running one of the ROMs listed on the HTC website as being eligible.

Note: As this is a hotfix, you will have to reinstall it after a Hard Reset.
