We’ve posted about changing icons in HTC Sense and how to get them nice and shiny but every icon displayed on Sense creates a cache and when you want to change the icon to a new one, you have to delete the cache in order for the changes to appear.
While you can do it manually (deleting the files in DeviceApplication DataHTCProgLauncher), there’s a small application that will do that for you and offer for a Soft Reset (upon which icons are refreshed and cache is regenerated).
Download the ZIP file to your PC, extract the contents, copy the CAB over to your Device and install it. Running it will clear Sense’s cache and offer for a Soft Reset.
Thanks for the tip, as always, @hvoltage!
