We’ve posted several times about the New SMS Function Update for the HD2 which was published and revoked three times till now (read about the first release; here’s the second one and here it is revoked). Hoping that four is a lucky number, HTC have again released the New SMS Function Update.

You might think you have a deja-vu but the description is the same: “this update for HTC HD2 messaging lets you reach out to your friends and family with instant notifications. Keeping in touch has always been very important, and this update delivers just that: fast and reliable SMS messaging” and the update is only applicable to ROM version is less than 1.66.XXX.X. How long will it stay published? What does it fix?
