In our full review of the HTC HD2, we covered picture and video quality which we found to be just mediocre. In this video, we take a look a closer look at the camera and camcorder application of the device.

New to the app is the ability to digitally zoom closer to your subject, plus there is now one-touch access to the setting that lets you choose where to save the media. Also new is a button on the right side to toggle the flash or fill light. Sadly, the flash provides too much light on the subject, and often produces extremely bright photos, even when use several feet away from the subject.

And, as we’ve recently found out, the camera issues don’t seem to be software related.

Update: Now it seems that the camera issues may indeed by software related.
