GrooveShark Mobile Beta 2

“Play any song in the world, for free.” This is the motto of GrooveShark, an online music search engine. The website is pretty simple just search for a song and play, no special software to download or even service to sign up to.

A developer, Nilezon, on XDA-Developers has recently created a Windows Mobile 6.1 application called GrooveShark Mobile that is able to stream any song directly from the GrooveShark website through a data connection. The program is still in the 0.2 beta version so there are some bugs but it is very promising and at this time works rather well for a quick song search.

The program is free and should run on most WVGA, VGA or QVGA Windows Mobile 6.1 devices with .NET 3.5 CF installed.
