The iPhone has had the Google Mobile application for a while now, and so has Android. Now Google is trying to bring the application to Windows Mobile, allowing for a quick way for users to search from their Today screen. The application also provides quick download links for other Google products. Sadly, voice search is not employed on the Windows Mobile side. Also unfortunate is that since it will take a line on your Today screen, it won’t be compatible with TouchFLO 3D. How it will work with Windows Mobile 6.5 is still unknown. In the meantime, since most of us are stuck with Windows Mobile 6.1 until we get a Windows Phone, you can point your mobile browser to m.google.com/search and get your download on!
