Xperia X1 users have been able to interact with animated fish for a long time, but there hasn’t really been anything like it for the rest of us. Thanks to XDA and just in time for some weekend fun, we now have a fish application that works on other devices. It’s called GoldFish and it adds an animated fish to your device’s screen.
What makes this fun is that the fish will continue to function while you’re using the device. Essentially, the goldfish will remain on the screen no matter what app you open or screen you switch to, even if it means getting struck by lightning like in the screen shot below.
The interactive goldfish isn’t as intuitive as the fish on the X1, but it does have realistic animations and some capabilities. You can tap the fish once to make it speed up, hold to drag it around the screen and double tap to exit. Hopefully the developer adds the option to attract the fish to a certain spot on the screen
Turn your Windows Phone into an aquarium by downloading this app from XDA-developers.
Note: the link above is for the revised version. View the original GoldFish app by maxycy and give him your support. You will most likely need .NET CF 3.5 to run this, so upgrade if you haven’t.
