In this video we show Android 2.0.1 (Eclair) running on an HTC Touch Diamond2. While the Android installation is running from a Linux bootloader and isn’t stable enough for day-to-day use (not to mention the lack of support for cellular data or WiFi), it’s super easy to get going and allows you to experience a lot of Android from your Windows Mobile device. If you’re running a Touch Pro2 or Touch HD, we’ve got some love for you too. We hope that one day we’ll be able to do a real port of Android on Windows Mobile hardware, but for now, there’s the emulator. See the download links below that come from XDA.
1. Download the files and put them on a storage card on your device
2. Run Haret.exe, and wait about five minutes
