From ageye, the makers of G-Alarm – comes a professional stopwatch application called G-Race which is advertised to be the most accurate stopwatch for the Windows Mobile Professional platform. Click on to read more about the software and its usage!

It can be used to time from one to more than 100 competitors at a time, for each of them having the possiblity of entering their names and save the list as a text file in order to load it at a later time.

To start timing, tap the green button on the middle of the screen; you can also start the timing separately by clicking on the small green start button on the left of each racer. While measuring, intermediate times can be taken by a tap anywhere on the screen (except the stop and top right button) and these later assigned in the order of their taking to each individual racer (by tapping the number on the top right, which represents the number of the intermediates taken). While crossing the finish line, tap the stop button for each competitor. There’s an option to bring up statistics for Fastest Racer, Fastest Lap and Last Lap, which you can also save for later use, as a CSV file which you can load into almost any spredsheet editor like Excel, Calc, etc.

In the Options you can choose from four languages (English, German, Portuguese and Czech), set sorting options (based on racer names and times), toggle full screen and backlight. Its website features an online Manual together with screenshots which will get you familiar with the app and its features in no time.

All in all, G-Race supports Windows Mobile Professional with VGA/WVGA/QVGA/WQVGA screen resolutions, it is finger friendly with neat graphics and runs in a permanent landscape mode. The program is available as a free 14 day trial and the full version costs around $7 USD (€4.99).
