FITALY 5 Now Available

Back in the old days, when I would predominantly use touch-screen-only phones, and Windows Mobile 2003 was all the rage, the FITALY software input panel was a great way to enter text using a stylus. Its one-point-friendly keyboard layout made typing text very quick and easy. Well, Fitaly is still around, and it’s now at version 5!

You can find detailed descriptions of what’s new, on their website.

Many of you will be most happy to be able to use again the shortcuts of your Fitaly glossaries. It is now very easy to load a glossary, your own or the ones provided by Textware Solutions (Business, sms, Internet, German, French, and we also included the Danish glossary offered by Hans-Jørgen Hoberg). With the new Fitaly Editor it is fast and easy to customize your own slides and glossary entries.

Another attractive feature is the display that you can use for slides launching your favorite applications, games, photos… With a simple slide on “c” Fitaly will show you the display “launch Calculator” in the slide preview window. With a slide on “s” you will see displayed “Play Solitaire”.

I am sure you will like it.

Upgrades from Fitaly 4 to 5 are free (same registration code), otherwise the Upgrade price is $19.

I know finger-friendly input methods are the biggest fad right now, but you can’t beat a stylus for precision, and if you want precision text input without a hardware keyboard, Fitaly is the SIP for you.
