For iPhone readers, Apple pushed out a recent update to version 3.1.3, which brings a number of bug fixes, including more accurate battery level reporting, corrects issues with third-party apps not launching, and now doesn’t crash some apps with the Japanese Kana keyboard. (via: AppleInsider)
The Nokia N97 and N97 Mini, Symbian S60 handsets, also got an update. According to IntoMobile, “The N97, now up to firmware version 21.0.045, has more free RAM, better call reliability, smoother scrolling, browser improvements, and a more stable camera/camcorder application. The N97 Mini, 11.0.045, has the same changelog as its chunkier brother.” (via: IntoMobile)
Also of note is that the Google Nexus One is now multitouch-enabled in the US market.
