Cool Way to Search & Launch Programs: by Using a Dialpad

Tired of navigating through your Start Menu or UI to find a specific shortcut? ZLaunchy uses a different approach to search for and launch your favorite programs. The launcher uses a custom dialpad to search all program shortcuts in the Start Menu. It’s based on the same concept that’s used to search for contacts with your phone dialer; so not only will you find it familiar, but you’ll notice that it quickly delivers results.

To use, simply type in a series of digits and it will list any matching programs found in the Start Menu. Assigning ZLaunchy to a hardware key or creating a shortcut in the Start Menu itself would probably be ideal for quick access. It works for VGA/WVGA/QVGA/WQVGA screened devices, so grab it from the developer’s website.

Features:

- Searches quickly

- Lists number of results & location in Start Menu folder

- Launch programs straight from dialer

- Minimize dialer to show full list

- Ability to scroll through matches

- Haptic feedback

- Clear search

- Big, finger friendly buttons
