One of my complaints about TouchFLO 3D on the HTC Touch Diamond was the inability to change the order of the tabs. My suggestion was that since the left most and right most tab icons are the easiest to access (by simply scrubbing your finger all the way off the left or right side of the screen), then the Home panel should be in the middle so that you could have two other most-used panels easily accessible that way while the Home panel was accessible via the Home button.
Sacha Lange has created a TF3D Configuration program available at XDA-Developers, which now lets you change the order of the tabs in the TouchFLO 3D user interface. That way you can put your 5 most-used tabs right up front on the left side so that they’re easier to access without having to do too much sliding.
Unfortunately, the Home hardware key on the Touch Diamond brings the TouchFLO 3D interface to the left-most panel tab. That means you can’t put the Home panel in the middle and still access it with the hardware key. However, it does mean that you can assign a different panel to that Home key by placing it all the way to the left. For example, if you want to jump to your People panel by pressing the Home key, just place it in the left-most space.
