ceSnipURL Makes Links Twitter and SMS Compliant

Chuong Nguyen | April 13, 2009 1:07 PM

Some URLs, or web addresses, are too long to send via SMS text messaging or to post on Twitter, which limits you to a mere 140 short characters. A new piece of software called ceSnipURL helps users to shorten the URLs to save on character space so that links can be posted to Twitter more easily.

According to Pocket PC Thoughts, the program automatically uses the URL on the clipboard, and once ceSnipURL converts the web address to a shortened URL, it automatically places the shortened link back onto the clipboard for users to easily paste into their desired program or applications.

To download ceSnipURL, you can visit kosertech, the makers of the application.
