In this video, our guest editor Jon Rettinger continues his look at the BlackBerry Storm with a software tour. He covers the web browser, messaging client, multimedia player, and other built in applications. He talks about the usability of the device and how the touchscreen interface responds to various gestures.
In addition to going over text input and the onscreen keyboard options, he explains the “click” sensation that occurs when you press down on the screen. And speaking of the screen, because it is capacitive and not resistive, multi-touch is supported, and there is one place that you can use it, which Jon describes.
In case you missed Jon’s other videos of the new Storm, check out the unboxing video and hardware tour.
