There’s an ongoing debate as to which touchscreen is more accurate between the capacitive and the resistive. Obviously, using the stylus on a resistive touchscreen will be more accurate than your finger on a capacitive one.
TouchMark is a free application that will offer a score for the accuracy of your touchscreen based on calculations after some tests which imply tapping the screen, either with stylus or finger, useful for comparing accuracy between same touchscreen types of different devices or between resistive and capacitive. As far as the score is concerned, the lower, the better!
