Alternative Application Launcher for Omnia

XDA Developers have released an alternative application launcher for the Samsung Omnia, called FingerPoint.

The design is rather standard, we’ve got four icons at the bottom but the launcher is finger friendly, meaning you can easily scroll through the program icons with gestures like finger flick in fluid scrolling animation while you can launch your application with a left to right finger swipe on their name, to avoid accidental launches.

For now, the only way to customize it is via editing Favorites.txt, Exclude.txt and Icons.txt from the installation folder on device so we hope future releases will have customization support and offer some more stability.

FingerPoint is not VGA/WVGA enabled for now, but users have reported it running on QVGA HTC devices.
