schaps’ Advanced Configuration Tool has yet again hit a new version number, that is 3.3, while still a free application.
There are several fixes in this release, none of them critical though, but very usefull tweaks which affect performance, usability and aspect. The first and most important one is that starting from this release, the tool is addressing for the first time ever, a non HTC device issue, that is fixing the File Browser crashing issue on the Samsung i900 Omnia.
There are a number of three improvements to the Manila interface: there is an option now to restore TouchFLO 3D settings as well as what’s very important, Advanced Configuration Tool now supports custom TF3D tabs (like the Call History and Calendar tabs). This version also adds the possibility to chose a long date format in Manila (dddd-mmm-yyyy). Some other minor things have been implemented, such as tweaks to the default HTC Task Manager and the ability to have the system display other font sizes by selecting custom font size values.
Advanced Configuration Tool ver. 3.3 proves once again that is the no. 1 configuration/optimization tool for Windows Mobile 5/6 Professional enabled devices, equipped with .NET Compact Framework 3.5, which is a prerequisite in this version too.
