We’ve already posted about Manila Birthday, an HTC Sense-like Birthday Application that takes birthday and anniversary information from your Contacts and displays it in a nice view where you can see who to congratulate and when.
I want to get back to this application since it’s evolved very much from it’s early release (now being at version 1.12) and the main addition is also my favorite: Manila Birthday can now add Birthdays and Anniversaries to your Calendar (even as a recurring event) so that you no longer miss an event now that you’re reminded.
Need to also mention that it runs on QVGA, VGA, WVGA screen resolutions and it has been translated in 22 languages. Definitely on my Must Have list!
EDIT: Version 1.3 was released meantime with the following changes (quote):
- Update: Romanian
- new function: refresh
- new function: unselect existing calendar entries
- fixed: avoid duplicate calendar entries
