We first heard about the Acer F1 at Computex. We found out that it would run Windows Mobile 6.5, have a high resolution 800×480 display, and possibly sport the coveted 1GHz Snapdragon CPU.
Well, if you poke around on Acer’s website, you’ll come across a service manual for a device that looks just like the F1, dubbed the S200. Within the service manual, we learn that the device is indeed listed with a Qualcomm 8250 1GHz CPU (that’s the Snapdragon), plus has some custom software action for the Today screen.
To take a peep at the manual yourself, hit the Driver Download section of Acer’s website, choose Smart Handheld, and dial down to S200.
