Pwrstat is a tiny application that will show you, the similar way Batti or Ariel does, your device’s battery level and memory usage.
There is no installation necessary, just download the zip file and extract its contents to your device’s Program Files folder (I’ve tested it to run from SD Card too) and either run the version supporting Windows Mobile power state (the one with pwrchk) or the one which doesn’t (nopwrchk). If you want the application to automatically start, make a shortcut to the desired exe and place it in WindowsStartUp folder.
Note 1: PPCGeeks describes the following power states of Windows Mobile with regards to this app: “1) fully turned on, 2) screen off, CPU on, phone & various devices are on, 3) screen off, CPU off, but phone & various devices are on, 4) device completely switched off. pwrstat is only active at 1) & is suspended or not running in all other modes. pwrstat only wakes from hardware events”.
Note 2: Advanced users can customize the thickness (between 1-4 pixels) and color (as RGB value) of the bars by editing the registry at HKCUSoftwarePwrStat and restarting the application for changes to take effect.
