Buried in the depths of Java-based trialware on the Epix is a gem called MusicID. It’ll “listen” to music, whether it’s on the radio or coming out of a CD player, and tell you the artist and song within about 15 seconds. It’s a great idea, and the accuracy is fantastic. It cost $3.99 per month after the 3-day trial, though it may be worth it for people that deal a lot with music. The software seems to be proprietary to AT&T, so it doesn’t look like you can get it for any device – though there is a thread at XDA-Devs about it.
