If you haven’t seen the screenshots and video of the Marketplace, read up on that before seeing this article.

So our wish has been granted and we finally get a look inside of the program screens on Marketplace. Each program will have three tabs: Summary, Screens, and Reviews. Shown below are the summary and reviews tabs. From any of the screens, you can choose “buy” from the left soft key menu. Then, you will be taken back to the main part of the Marketplace where you can watch your application download.

So far this looks like an elegant solution for application delivery. Microsoft is taking cues from the iPhone app store, but there are obvious differences in the interface (but not so much the concept). We’ll be looking further into the UI of the Marketplace in the coming days!
