Pharos Traveler 137 Reviewed by ZDNet

Matthew Miller over at ZDNet has given us his first impressions on the Pharos Traveler 137, which sports a trackball and comes bundled with SPB Mobile Shell. It seems that Matt is impressed with the hardware build quality, but because it is sold unlocked the price may be a bit steep:

After spending a few days with the device, I think it is one of the best Pharos models made and may be compelling for T-Mobile customers looking for a WM device. I am too much of a hardware keyboard fan myself to pay $550 for a touchscreen only device though and I honestly am starting to lose some of my enthusiasm for the Windows Mobile platform thanks to all the new mobile operating systems hitting the streets.

Unfortunately, the device only supports T-Mobile USA's AWS 3G network. On AT&T, it will only run on EDGE as it doesn't have support for AT&T's bands.
