Now that all you lucky T-Mobile Dash owners have felt the beauty of all that is WM6, it seems that you Q owners should be entitled to the same…but, the street talk is that Moto has decided not to push out a WM6 ROM for their Q’s, banking instead on its Q9 to represent the Schaumburg telecom giant.

Well, folks, it seems that some enterprising (or just bored) people on the wonderful internet felt the rage, and have decided to fight back against the apparent No-Moto-Q WM6 upgrade rumor. They’ve actually extracted the portions of Office Mobile from WM6 Standard and released it for WM 5.0 Smartphone devices.

Bearing in mind that this is NOT supported or endorsed by Microsoft, and and such has debatable legality, we cannot post links- but who said Google isn’t useful?:)

And, for those of you who do have a WM6 Standard device (or the aforementioned unofficial OM), you’ll quickly find that there is no “New” document function in Office Mobile- a quick fix is the “Modaco Donew” applet, that works around this with a quick CAB file install.
