Mio unveiled the Explorer K70 at the CeBIT tradeshow in Germany, a GPS smartphone that runs Windows Mobile 6 Professional and has minimal hardware keys on the front.
However, to compensate for the small number of keys, the Explorer allows you to explore the device with a scroll wheel–a la old school BlackBerry pre-trackball. The device also has a WQVGA screen that puts it in the same class as the Samsung Omnia. The Explorer is a quad-band GSM, tri-band HSPA device with a 3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, WiFi, and GPS with mapping software.
Overall, it’s a stylish package. According to Engadget Mobile, the device will come in two variants, one vanilla and the other fully loaded with accessories including vehicle charger and car mount.
