In its latest revision of Windows Mobile 6.5, Microsoft had removed the honeycomb visually from the OS design. However, it looks like in its latest handset, Samsung is bringing the love it or hate it honeycomb to the hardware. The directional pad is built in the shape of the honeycomb in the latest leaked shots of the S8000.
Not much is known about the phone at this point, but given the lack of Windows button, it may not be a Windows Phone. You can read more about Samsung’s latest over at GSM Arena.
Engadget Mobile spotted another Samsung handset, the B7300, which is destined for Asia and won’t see a North America release. That phone will come with Samsung’s user interface on top of the usual Windows Mobile fanfare.
