The specs for Windows Mobile 7 are revealed. Along with the new FWVGA screens announced for Windows Mobile 6.5, Windows Mobile 7 will only support said resolution and the WVGA screen sizes. Moreover, the minimum display size is 3.5-inch so your device will be increased slightly–current popular HTC devices use a 2.8 to 3.0-inch display.
Other notable mentions include 1 GB or more of flash memory, a ton of sensors including a magnetic compass that is also rumored for the iPhone 2009 release that’s been floating around the blogosphere, and support for a 3.5 mm standard headphone jack along with micro USB for charging/synchronizing. Hopefully that means those wacky proprietary Samsung connectors on the Epix and Omnia are gone.
