Hot on the heels of the just recently leaked Windows Mobile 6.5 Build 23037, Microsoft has a Build 23041, which adds more visual polish to 6.5 into a more aesthetically pleasing package. With the quick updates in subsequent build numbers, Microsoft is really pushing to get a stable, attractive version of Windows Mobile 6.5 released on October 6, though devices will probably trickle in later depending on carrier certification and testing.
The latest updates found in the 23041 build according to WMPowerUser include:
-The buttons on the bottom bar are now more ovalish than the roundish buttons which were found in previous builds (23036 & 23037) of Windows Mobile 6.5.
-Hardware buttons for volume and camera are now working.
-The status bar on the top has iPhone-like slide effect now. You will now have to slide it to get into the magnified status bar.
-More speedy and responsive.
-Numerous other bug fixes.
