We’ve taken a look at the hardware behind the Motorola Droid X, which will be launching on July 15th for $200 on Verizon Wireless after mail-in-rebate and on a two-year agreement. Now, we’ll be exploring the widgets-based UI, that’s highly customizable and attractive, on the Droid X. The widgets-based system, although resembles MOTO BLUR, is actually a customized solution that Motorola and Verizon Wireless collaborated on to deliver. I think I’ve made some mentions that it is MOTO BLUR, but just as a correction, the UI is a customized UI and is not part of the MOTO BLUR user interface that debuted on the Motorola CLIQ.
