Verizon’s 4G LTE Network Now Covers Almost All Of New England

Verizon Wireless has just published a press release where they announce their first anniversary since the launch of their 4G LTE network in Boston by now confirming that the network now covers all the New England region. The Press Release also provides details on the full deployment timeline, and all the dollars invested (which you helped pay).

Kind of incredible to think that only a year has passed, and that the network has already expanded to as many as 195 markets nationwide. Competition has done a lot to catch up, but so far it seems that everybody just keeps trying. We really have to hand it to Verizon in that matter. No network or service in any country is perfect, but Verizon has truly raised the bar in offering the most reliable network. After an experience like CES 2012 in Las Vegas, it was clear that the only network built to really rule the air has their name on it at the moment. Surely we’d wish that Smartphone battery technology would be good enough to take advantage of the blazing speeds LTE can provide, but that’s a whole other story that has little to do with the quality of any network.

Do you have LTE in your area already? Is it all you dreamed it would be? Leave us a comment and share your experience.
