Samsung’s scored a big one, brining its Samsung Galaxy S in various different flavors to all four major US carriers. Verizon Wireless will be carrying the Samsung Galaxy S as the Verizon Wireless Samsung Fascinate, which will join the Sprint Samsung Epic 4G, the T-Mobile Samsung Vibrant, and the AT&T Samsung Captivate–we had hoped Samsung would have kept the Galaxy S moniker consistent across all four lines, except maybe the Sprint model which includes a 4G radio. None the less, the Fascinate for Verizon Wireless will bring all the great things about the Galaxy S model–including 1 GHz Hummingbird CPU, 4-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, and HD capabilities–to Verizon Wireless’ burgeoning Android line-up.
The Fascinate will be similar to the Captivate, Vibrant, and Galaxy S for US Cellular in that it won’t offer a sliding hardware keyboard and will only come with as a touch-only device.
