To learn more about the HTC Imagio on Verizon Wireless, click on to PDAdb.net for the complete specs. The device was known as the Whitestone internally, and supports Verizon Wireless’ mobile TV called V-Cast.
The Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone will be available beginning today, October 6, 2009 for $200 after a $100 rebate and two-year service agreement. It is one of the best touchscreen devices out there. The Imagio is extremely responsive, sheds the bulk of the sliding QWERTY keyboard of the Touch Pro2, and has a large and massive screen that is a pleasure to use. I have enjoyed the Imagio over the Pure in my brief experience with both devices.
Given all the refinements with Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5, the excellent build quality and attractive industrial design, great touchscreen and user interface behind TouchFLO 3D, the Apple iPhone should really take notice and feel a bit threatened on AT&T’s wireless network! And that came from a person–me–who has used the iPhone almost exclusively the last two years.
Stay tuned for the software tour and our coverage of the V-Cast mobile TV service!
