PhoneArena has been tipped by a reliable source that claims to know the pace of releases for Verizon’s upcoming smartphones. First up, we’ve got the Thunderbolt, Verizon’s first LTE 4G smartphone, which is still slated for a mid-February release. Second, that mysterious and sort of buttonless HTC phone, perhaps landing as the Droid Incredible 2, is on track for a late February or March release. Also within the same time period we’ll see a release of the Samsung LTE 4G smartphone, which we know as the SCH-i520. And for Q2, expect to see the BlackBerry Monaco, or the Storm 3, and also the Droid Bionic. What’s not mentioned on this timeline are any Windows Phone 7 devices, though we’re still pretty sure the HTC Trophy is destined to land on Verizon in the near future.
