Evidence is mounting that Verizon will be releasing a number of anticipated smartphones next month, including the Palm Pre 2 and Droid Pro (pictured left) and Droid 2 Global from Motorola. Engadget has reportedly received the carrier’s November rebate form, which lists the pair of Droids along with the latest Pre for $100 off whatever their subsidized price ends up being. Interestingly, both the Droid 2 Global and BlackBerry Bold 9650 are listed with two SKU’s, possibly indicating different color options, a non-camera option, or in the case of the Bold, even a version running OS 6. Also apparently listed are the Motorola Citrus (pictured right) and Samsung Continuum handsets — both with $100 rebates as well — the latter of which is very likely to be announced on November 8th.
None of these releases would come as much of a surprise: first of all we’d heard all these names in a previous rumor detailing November releases on Big Red, but more importantly, November happens to be a month when many Americans start shopping like mad in preparation for a number of gift-giving holidays which occur in December.
