For those awaiting the launch of the Motorola Droid X, that day is coming on Thursday, July 15th. For now, though, Verizon Wireless and Motorola are teasing you with a commercial of the coveted large-screen flagship Android smartphone. The Droid “X” is marketed as the “neXt generation” of Droid phones.

Although the Droid X will be launching with Android 2.1, it will get an upgrade later this summer to Android 2.2 Froyo, which will bring with it Adobe Flash 10.1 support.
