A month ago U.S. Cellular told the world about its plans to bring seven Android phones and one Windows Phone to its line-up this year. From these, three will be made by HTC and if we take the one Taiwanese Windows Phone out there are only two HTC Android phones left.
According to the image above — which is really a leaked U.S. Cellular rebate form — we know that the carrier is preparing the HTC Desire II and the HTC Wildfire S. The Desire II is really the Desire S, follow-up to the popular HTC Desire, with a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, 768MB of RAM, 1.1GB of ROM, and a 3.7-inch WVGA 480×800 resolution display.
The Wildfire S is the Wildfire refresh and it is also apparently coming to U.S. Cellular besides the BlackBerry Torch 9850 and Curve 9350. There are some other names too, like the LG Attune, Samsung Character, and US Cellular Wrangler so it’s gonna be a pretty interesting year for the carrier.
