Sprint just posted a teaser site of the upcoming Palm Centro, the Palm Garnet version of the recently released Treo 500v Windows Mobile Standard. The Palm counterpart retains the 320 X 320 touchscreen while the 500v sports a 320 X 240 landscape non-touchscreen display. Engadget Mobile is reporting that the device will be available in candy apple red, and will cost around $100 after $100 mail in rebate, a $25 minimum monthly data subscription, and a two-year contract agreement. Sounds like a good deal for smartphone neophites!
