The C6 bears a striking resemblance to the Nokia N97 and N97 Mini. The successor to the sliding QWERTY form factor in landscape mode, like the N97 Mini before it, eschews the tilt screen on the larger N97. The C6 will feature a 3.2-inch 16:9 touchscreen display with a resolution of 640 X 360, which is great for YouTube and movie watchers. Free turn-by-turn voice guidance with OVI Maps navigation is included, as well as support for social networking. The device will run on Symbian and includes GSM and 3G support; a version that is compatible with North American 3G bands will be be available as well. The C6 is expected in the second quarter of this year. A 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash is onboard.
