The times must be really rough as T-Mobile is rolling out its plans to offer a layaway plan for wireless phones. The offer extends to wireless phones and accessories. Customers can pay for their purchases, if they qualify, in four easy monthly installments according to Gizmodo.
Customers taking advantage of the Equipment Installment Plan from T-Mobile are not charged any additional fees or finance charges. The program is meant to help make high-end mobile phones more accessible to the public. In general, it is meant for T-Mobile to increase its coffers as users of higher end phones tend to add more packages to their devices, including text and data access. Are you ready to spring for that new Shadow or the G1 on Android?
