With plenty of new phones on their way to the major US carriers in the coming weeks and months, it should be no surprise that we’re seeing them take steps to help push sales of existing models while there’s still an interest in them. The latest to reveal its plans for a Valentine’s Day sale is T-Mobile, and it puts forth a compelling if not extremely time-limited offer.
This Saturday, February 11, for one day only, T-Mobile will be selling its entire stock of 4G smartphones for free-on-contract. Additionally, the same savings will be available for select tablets, including the Huawei-made T-Mobile Springboard.
While plenty of phones on T-Mobile are already heavily subsidized, this Saturday’s sale offers the opportunity to save big on certain models. The BlackBerry Bold 9900, for instance, still goes for $300 on-contract. Samsung’s Galaxy S II would normally set you back $230, and the myTouch 4G Slide is priced at $200; any one of these models would make a good choice for taking full advantage of T-Mobile’s generosity. Better make up your mind fast, though, as you’ve only days left to decide.
Check out the full list of included models, as well as details on what plan options you’ll need to qualify for the savings, over at T-Mobile’s site.
